For
the ultimate in acoustic amplification
...communicate your sound to the audience

Acoustic musicians need to have accurate,
uncoloured amplified sound both to the front of house PA system
and for on stage monitoring. The multi-purpose Acoustic Interface
combines a 2 channel preamp, DI buffers, digital effects processor
and a studio quality power amplifier and loudspeaker system for
all acoustic instruments. Use as a stand alone amplifier, a preamp
with numerous routing options to DI into a PA system, a personal
on-stage monitor - or any combination of these.
The two separate input channels allow the connection
of active pickups, passive pickups and microphone sources either
singly or as a "stereo" input with a Blend control to
allow mixing the sound of the different transducers. Each input
is equipped with "application specific" EQ tailored to
the type of source, and a separate DI output to allow a different
mix front-of-house from the internal loudspeaker if desired. The
monitor amp section has twin notch filters for feedback suppression
and a separate volume control for the internal amplifier/loudspeaker
that doesn't affect the DI outputs. Loudspeaker complement is a
high efficiency 210mm woofer + 28mm horn loaded dome tweeter driven
through an active crossover system by separate 120W + 40W power
amplifiers giving clean, undistorted output at high volumes. The
unit is housed in a rugged dual position 15mm birch ply cabinet
and is small enough to be easily portable.
Designed and built to an uncompromising specification
to give, what we believe, is the very best sound quality currently
available.
